Geoff Brighton BSc Hons, FCIH [Fellow of Chartered Institute of Housing]
Most of Geoff’s career has been spent in social housing, culminating in 16 years as Chief Executive of a registered social landlord providing supported housing for the vulnerable and those in need, including the homeless, people with mental health problems and the frail elderly. Geoff has also held a number of non executive roles, including with a Primary Care Trust (as Chair of Audit), Vice Chair of the London Housing Federation, Chair of a CAB and a housing association. He is currently working as a fee paid Panel member for the Judicial Appointments Commission, Board Member of Penwith Housing Association, Trustee of a Pension Fund, Associate Consultant to the Co-operative College and recently worked with several schools in the Penwith area including acting as Company Secretary to the Penwith Education trust comprising 12 local schools.
Dr Bob Mayo
Dr Bob Mayo has an interest in sport, health and well being. He is a director of the Salmon Youth Centre in Bermondsey, published author and Church of England vicar.
Bob has set up and taught a degree at Cambridge University with ethics, youthwork and informal education at its core. He is an associate lecturer at Cardiff University. Bob was also a torch bearer at the London 2012 Olympics. He has set up a film club for homeless people and he set up and is part of an inter-faith leader group.
Ed Le Froy – Secretary
Since leaving school at 17 Ed has done a wide variety of jobs in his career, including setting up and being Managing Director of three six figure turnover companies. It was a love of board sports that took him snowboarding and surfing all over the world and led them to set up the surf company that eventually led to GB Boardriders CIC.
